About the role
- Supporting the development and maintenance of the department’s discovery platform, knowledge base, and collaboration workspaces
- Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the firm ‑ wide catalogue and discovery platforms, including the eLibrary
- Working with other areas of Technology & Information Services to support systems configuration, platform upgrades, and maintenance
- Designing and managing electronic and print content platforms to ensure resources are easily accessible, relevant to the task, and understood by end users
- Overseeing the department’s knowledge base, and collaborating with the research team to develop and audit content
- Managing the department’s collaboration workspaces, such as Microsoft Teams, iManage, and SharePoint
- Supporting services including password management, research platform authentication, and migrations
- Promoting effective work practices by working collaboratively as a team member and demonstrating respect for coworkers
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent
- A master's degree or Juris Doctor (J.D.), preferably
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience, preferably
- A minimum of seven (7) years of cumulative experience
- Possess knowledge of electronic and print content administration systems and technologies, such as EOS
- Demonstrate knowledge of bibliographic utilities and current cataloging standards
- Exhibit experience with internet services and user authentication protocols, including IP authentication and single sign ‑ on
