About the role

  • Supporting the development and maintenance of the department’s discovery platform, knowledge base, and collaboration workspaces
  • Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the firm ‑ wide catalogue and discovery platforms, including the eLibrary
  • Working with other areas of Technology & Information Services to support systems configuration, platform upgrades, and maintenance
  • Designing and managing electronic and print content platforms to ensure resources are easily accessible, relevant to the task, and understood by end users
  • Overseeing the department’s knowledge base, and collaborating with the research team to develop and audit content
  • Managing the department’s collaboration workspaces, such as Microsoft Teams, iManage, and SharePoint
  • Supporting services including password management, research platform authentication, and migrations
  • Promoting effective work practices by working collaboratively as a team member and demonstrating respect for coworkers
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • A master's degree or Juris Doctor (J.D.), preferably
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience, preferably
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of cumulative experience
  • Possess knowledge of electronic and print content administration systems and technologies, such as EOS
  • Demonstrate knowledge of bibliographic utilities and current cataloging standards
  • Exhibit experience with internet services and user authentication protocols, including IP authentication and single sign ‑ on
