About the role
- Be a media planner, establishing a channel mix to support clients’ goals.
- Be an analyst, digging through data to pull out meaningful insights.

- Work collaboratively with channel specialists to drive day-to-day media strategy, outline test parameters, dissect results.
- Understand how media strategy impacts the client’s business and integrate this knowledge into collaborative sessions.
- Be the primary (autonomous) Growth Strategist responsible for managing all day-to-day responsibilities of Strategy on a mix of key, assigned clients.
- Creation and maintenance of quarterly roadmap and effectively make budget and media mix recommendations based on business performance relative to identified KPIs.
- Ongoing reporting on performance of media and offering recommendations to support clients’ goals.
- Confidently leverage post-purchase survey data to drive top-of-funnel recommendations.
- Establish key business KPIs and translate them into relevant in-platform targets.
- Drive ongoing, proactive collaboration with specialists to problem-solve, drive stronger performance.
- Lead client calls and serve as the primary points of contact for ongoing client needs.
- Support senior team members in best practice refinement and development.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a planning/strategy role working in paid media, marketing, or consulting (agency and ecommerce experience preferred)
- Good understanding of the e-commerce, DTC business model
- Know how to leverage Shopify to get information you need to make media decisions
- Know about the most important apps used by our client’s Shopify stores
- Demonstrable hands-on experience with Google Ads and/or Meta Ads
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients (read: you have experience being client-facing) and colleagues.
- Strong analytical skills that promote the ability to measure success of media efforts and identify learnings to enable further success.
- Detail-oriented and has a proven track record of effectively managing multiple responsibilities while ensuring delivery of on-time and error-free work.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, Google Analytics, and other relevant reporting platforms – you're a data storyteller at heart.
