About the role

  • Sales responsibility for a designated region within the Germany and BENELUX country group.
  • Represent and advocate for the division's interests with customers and other business contacts.
  • Defend and expand the division's market position within the assigned sales region.
  • Identify and capture new business opportunities.
  • Prepare, conduct and follow up on customer meetings, discussions and negotiations.
  • Develop customer and negotiation strategies in close cooperation with Product Management.
  • Gather, process, document and share customer, competitor and market information.
  • Establish, grow and maintain customer relationships and external contacts.

Requirements

  • University degree in economics/business administration, chemistry or engineering with commercial experience, or extensive professional experience.
  • Strong customer and results orientation.
  • Highly developed negotiation skills, assertiveness, and a strong ability to work in teams and communicate effectively.
  • High level of self-organization and the ability to take responsibility.
  • Experienced in digital communication and negotiations (video calls via Cisco WebEx, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
  • Willingness to travel required.
  • Local presence in the sales territory or willingness to relocate to the sales territory required.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English.
