💰 $138,700 - $184,900 per year

About the role

  • Leading the HR function covering multiple plant sites to meet strategic and operational commitments.
  • Acting as a liaison between employer and employee to support a positive culture.
  • Overseeing employee relations and updating employees with any changes in company policy/contract provisions.
  • Advising assigned supervisors on treatment of staff and company policies.
  • Resolving and mediating employee complaints.
  • Participating in negotiations, contract arbitration or mediation proceedings.
  • Representing locations on community advisory panels as appropriate.
  • Conducting investigations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, certification preferred (SPHR, SHRM-SCP).
  • 5-10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Multi-site experience is required.
  • Labor relations experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence change.
  • Self-driven, proactive problem solver.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and travel to various sites as required.
