About the role
- The position is responsible for all manufacturing at the East Hanover site including shipping and receiving operations.
- Manages Production Operations within a production department possibly multiple shifts or across several departments on a single shift.
- Directs all related manufacturing personnel actions, including final selection, training, performance appraisal, discipline, and safety.
- Provides technical and operational coaching to Production Supervision/Shift Leaders.
- Leads manufacturing strategic planning to ensure manufacturing capabilities are able to meet current and planned business needs and directly oversees tactical execution of these plans.
- Ensures compliance with safety rules and regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum B.S. degree in Engineering/Master Preferred
- Required Years of Professional experience: >10 years
- Leadership experience required
- Professional experience in operations required
- Project management experience required
- Senior management and strategy experience strongly preferred
- Lean manufacturing experience strongly preferred
