About the role
- Safe and efficient operations of the TCO unit by supporting and participating in all related projects
- Ensure all Safety and Environmental policies are followed
- Follow good housekeeping practices to ensure area meets expectations
- Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed
- Ability to cross train on all operations within the area
- Monitor the process in the field and/or in control room to report unusual and unsafe conditions
- Identify routine maintenance requirements
- Participate in activities and meetings which will enhance plant safety, reliability, cost and environmental performance as well as area production objectives
- Demonstrate behavior consistent with site standards and coach others to do the same
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Good problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work twelve-hour rotating day/night and overtime as needed
- Previous experience in operations is a plus
- May require membership in Fire Brigade
- Mechanical aptitude (working with pipe wrenches and tools needed for plant activities and minor maintenance)
- Experience in operating a forklift or ability to learn
- Participation in plant safety programs
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
