About the role

  • IT audit planning: Developing the annual IT audit plan in coordination with relevant stakeholders
  • Conducting IT audits: Independently planning and executing IT audits focused on IT governance, IT infrastructure, IT systems and processes, and cyber security across the LANXESS Group worldwide
  • Audit reporting: Presenting and aligning findings and recommendations with responsible management and preparing clear, concise audit reports for the Executive Board
  • Maintenance and development of the IT audit universe: Regularly reviewing and updating the IT audit universe to address changes in the IT landscape and emerging risks
  • Enhancement of audit processes: Conceptual development of audit processes and methodologies in IT auditing

Requirements

  • Completed degree with a focus on Computer Science, Information Systems, or a comparable qualification
  • At least eight years of professional experience in IT audit at an international company or a public accounting/auditing firm
  • Solid knowledge of IT processes, IT governance, IT management and projects, network technologies, system architectures, and cyber security
  • Proven knowledge of common IT standards such as ITIL, COBIT, BSI IT-Grundschutz or ISO/IEC 27000
  • Relevant professional certifications, e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP, ISO/IEC 27001
  • Strong team skills and excellent communication abilities, including in intercultural environments
  • Independent and goal-oriented working style
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility
  • Experience with SAP desirable
  • Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
