About the role

  • Drive growth and deepen relationships across assigned Mid-Eastern U.S. territory.
  • Lead territory planning and execute sales initiatives aligned with national strategies.
  • Manage and develop new and existing dealer and end user relationships.
  • Focus on sales within an assigned geographic territory and/or assigned customer accounts.
  • Quote programs for customers with technical accuracy and within Company pricing guidelines.
  • Stay current on Fire Service product features (including competitor technology), legislation, and regulations.
  • Attend trade shows, seminars and meetings related to sales and marketing of our products.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with national sales strategies and deliver results.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be willing to reside within DC, DE, MD, NJ, PA - preferably within Philadelphia.
  • Comfortable being a 'road warrior' - in person expectation of being with customers more than 85% of the time.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong entrepreneurial skills and motivated by building something new.
  • Strong knowledge of PC-based applications (Microsoft Office Suite etc.).
  • Proven customer relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using CRM applications.
  • Experience working and/or selling in the U.S. Fire Service is strongly preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and be self-motivated.
  • Excellent presentation and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communications skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective at building relationships.
  • Adaptable to changing environments.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
