About the role
- Lead the design and construction supervision of drainage elements for a wide range of highway and other infrastructure schemes, including the school building programme.
- Produce Flood Risk Assessments and support planning applications.
- Review external submissions for compliance with national and local standards, including SuDS.
- Manage and mentor engineering staff.
- Develop design solutions and prepare drawings, schedules, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with contractors, stakeholders, and partner organisations to ensure programmes are delivered efficiently.
Requirements
- Strong technical background in drainage and highway design
- Demonstrable experience delivering projects to budget and programme
- Ability to lead and support junior team members
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Eligibility to work and be based in the UK
- Holds a UK driving licence and has access to a car.
