About the role

  • Organize and manage the kitchen, including menu planning and team leadership.
  • Ensure freshly prepared daily meals for residents in elderly care.
  • Responsible for budgeting, purchasing, inventory management and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements, in particular HACCP regulations and quality standards.
  • Create duty rosters and organize work processes within the kitchen team.
  • Contribute to the development of varied and seasonal menu plans.

Requirements

  • Completed training as a cook (m/f/d) or comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in large-scale kitchens or institutional catering.
  • Initial experience in leading a kitchen team is desirable.
  • Business administration understanding and confident use of MS Office.
  • Structured, solution-oriented way of working and enjoyment of responsibility.
  • Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.
