About the role
- Ensure correct execution and reliability of water analyses
- Comply with applicable regulatory standards, COFRAC accreditation Quality requirements and client deadlines
- Validate the department's analytical results
- Ensure optimal organization of the department to maximize production efficiency (SQCD)
- Manage analytical priorities
- Ensure proper functioning of the analytical equipment (chromatographic systems in particular)
- Integrate new methods developed by R&D into the department
- Propose daily improvements to analyses aimed at operational excellence and technical expertise
- Manage, unite and lead the team and associated meetings
- Support the team in developing their skills
Requirements
- Master's degree (Bac+5 equivalent) in Chemical Engineering or a Master's in Analytical Chemistry
- Proven prior experience in management (minimum 5 people) in challenging, fast-evolving environments
- Strong ability to work within multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic, innovation-oriented and continuous improvement environment
- Rigorous, autonomous, pragmatic and methodical with strong analytical and synthesis skills
- In-depth knowledge of hydrology and experience as a quality auditor would be an advantage
