About the role

  • Operation & Development: Installation, configuration and reliable maintenance of our Unified Communication system landscape
  • Cisco UC Expertise: Administration and continuous optimization of the Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM/CallManager) environment and associated third-party solutions
  • Technical Implementation: Analysis of business requirements, derivation of technical tasks and creation of precise documentation
  • Quality & Stability: Planning and execution of updates, functional testing and other quality assurance measures
  • Support: Independent handling of tickets at 2nd and 3rd level support
  • Project Work: Participation in the planning, coordination and implementation of IT and infrastructure projects in the UC area

Requirements

  • Completed IT training or degree and several years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Solid knowledge of digital telecommunications and unified communication architectures
  • Experience with VoIP technologies (SIP, QoS), VLANs and common network infrastructures
  • Very good knowledge of Cisco UC technologies (e.g. Jabber, Webex, CUCM, CUBE, Expressway, Ascom DECT)
  • Familiarity with incident and request management tools and processes (e.g. ITIL environment)
  • Good knowledge of at least one operating system (Windows or Linux)
  • Analytical, solution-oriented way of working and high level of commitment
  • Strong team and communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
  • Structured work organization as well as transparent communication and coordination on an equal footing with internal customers and IT departments
