About the role
- LaBella Associates is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual for the position of Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruiting process and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires in your designated divisions.
- This position is hybrid and is based out of our Rochester, NY office.
- As the Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist, you will play a vital role in finding the perfect candidates for technical positions in designated divisions. You will have a deep understanding of the requirements for these roles and will be responsible for creating job advertisements, reviewing resumes, and contacting potential candidates to determine their fit.
- Additionally, you will work closely with regional HRBPs to support regional recruiting efforts and collaborate with Division Directors to identify and prioritize recruitment needs.
- You will also be the main point of contact for onboarding new hires in the designated divisions. Working alongside HRBPs, you will ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new employees, starting from the moment they accept the offer until their first day on the job.

- Review Applications
- Schedule interviews
- Attend recruiting meetings
- Host recruiting meetings with Division Directors and/or divisional leadership teams
- Career Fair coordination
- Onboarding
- Send new hire paperwork
- Process new hire background checks
- Review onboarding paperwork and verify I-9 identification
- Enter new hires into ADP WorkforceNow
- Assist with new hire immigration matters
- Miscellaneous: Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Management, or other relevant degree
- Solid understanding of HR practices and labor legislation
- 2 - 5 years of experience involving recruiting and onboarding
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems, Workable preferred.
- Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with data entry preferred
- Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter preferred.
