About the role

  • LaBella Associates is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual for the position of Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruiting process and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires in your designated divisions.
  • This position is hybrid and is based out of our Rochester, NY office.
  • As the Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist, you will play a vital role in finding the perfect candidates for technical positions in designated divisions. You will have a deep understanding of the requirements for these roles and will be responsible for creating job advertisements, reviewing resumes, and contacting potential candidates to determine their fit.
  • Additionally, you will work closely with regional HRBPs to support regional recruiting efforts and collaborate with Division Directors to identify and prioritize recruitment needs.
  • You will also be the main point of contact for onboarding new hires in the designated divisions. Working alongside HRBPs, you will ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new employees, starting from the moment they accept the offer until their first day on the job.

  • Attend recruiting meetings
  • Host recruiting meetings with Division Directors and/or divisional leadership teams
  • Career Fair coordination
  • Onboarding
  • Send new hire paperwork
  • Process new hire background checks
  • Review onboarding paperwork and verify I-9 identification
  • Enter new hires into ADP WorkforceNow
  • Assist with new hire immigration matters
  • Miscellaneous: Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Management, or other relevant degree
  • Solid understanding of HR practices and labor legislation
  • 2 - 5 years of experience involving recruiting and onboarding
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems, Workable preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with data entry preferred
  • Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter preferred.
