About the role
- Partner with the Senior Director of Labor Relations to develop and execute enterprise labor relations strategy.
- Identify and recommend critical labor relations priorities and proactively address emerging risks.
- Represent the company at the bargaining table, including serving as lead or co-lead negotiator.
- Speak on behalf of the company during negotiations and labor-management meetings.
- Serve as designated backup to the Senior Director of Labor Relations.
- Independently lead labor initiatives and partner with external labor counsel.
- Lead or co-lead labor campaigns and work with external consultants.
- Oversee the grievance and arbitration process.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Analyze internal and external labor trends and provide actionable insights.
- Design and implement scalable labor relations processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or related field
- 5 years or more of progressive labor relations experience
- Experience leading collective bargaining negotiations
- Experience partnering with external labor counsel
- Experience with labor campaigns or union organizing
