About the role
- Oversee all phases from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, and monitoring
- Define resource needs, allocate staff, and track expenditures to keep projects within budget
- Develop detailed project plans, define tasks, and generate documentation for requirements
- Act as the primary point of technical subject matter experts, internal business and IT leadership, and external vendors providing regular status reports
- Identify potential issues and implement corrective action plans
- Coordinate with sourcing and procurement and external vendors for procurement and implementation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, Information Technology
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM certification preferred
- Extensive professional experience in IT project management or infrastructure roles
- Strong communication, leadership, technical proficiency skills (e.g., virtualization, cloud platforms, construction), and proficiency in MS Office
- Data center installation, network upgrades, and cloud migration experience desirable
- Experience with managing large scale, international infrastructure related projects, including facility expansions, site relocations preferred
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language for stakeholders
