About the role

  • Design, build, and enhance scalable, secure, and high-performance applications
  • Work across the full technology stack and contribute to architecture decisions
  • Develop modern cloud-native solutions and mentor junior engineers
  • Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, UX designers, QA engineers, and product teams
  • Deliver high-impact applications using modern frameworks and engineering best practices
  • Lead and contribute to full-stack development using modern Agile methodologies
  • Develop intuitive applications in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Maintain and build RESTful microservices using Java, Spring, and cloud-native patterns
  • Develop advanced single-page applications using Angular or React

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent technical experience
  • 6+ years of software development experience in Java or another object-oriented language
  • 6 + years of experience developing single-page applications with Angular or React
  • 3+ years of experience building applications using AWS services (Lambda, ECS, IAM, VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3, API Gateway, SQS, DynamoDB)
  • Strong experience with Spring and RESTful API development
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply them to active projects
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and follow-through skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile teams.
