About the role

  • Act as a liaison between LabCorp, customers, and patients
  • Resolve routine customer requests via calls or the Internet
  • Speak with customers courteously and professionally
  • Provide additional customer education and information as needed
  • Qualify and establish inbound new customers requesting LabCorp's products and services
  • Work in multiple databases to research complex issues
  • Notify clients of test results in a timely manner

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a customer service role
  • Experience working in a contact center/call center environment preferred
  • Current or previous Labcorp experience preferred
  • Prior healthcare industry experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is required
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and/or Laboratory Information Systems is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
