About the role
- Responsible for day-to-day logistics specific departmental activities and management of data entry activity and shipment tracking
- Liaising with other internal departments, mainly laboratory, sample services and site support services, for the management of daily in-house operations
- Loading & managing shipper/consignee information and relevant transportation procedures
- Managing dry ice information accounts with providers and executing address changes as required
- Documenting all transportation service failures, resolving, and escalating to management when appropriate
- Supporting other Logistics functions with laboratory testing or pre-analytical or post-analytical requirements questions
- Assisting Administrators, Analyst and management within the department with administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree ideally within Economics/Business field
- Any further Specialization/Certification within the Supply Chain/Logistics field in similar (highly regulated) environment
- Fluent in English Speaking, Writing and Reading
- Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to use computer and office software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Attention to detail
