Assist cross-functional teams with sustainment of multiple integration lab configurations
Interface with external IT consultants and contractors for troubleshooting complex processes and projects
Receive multi-tier support calls and enter trouble tickets into database
Provide remote support for off-site customers
Attend program team meetings to understand Software Integration Lab (SIL) needs
Engineer SIL solutions based on software requirements
Fabricate wiring required to install hardware components
Check event logs for servers, firewalls, and alerts
Provide complex PC hardware/software setup, support and repair; install desktop OS and application patches
Perform advanced LAN troubleshooting and infrastructure support (wiring, soldering, troubleshooting, connectivity)
Analyze customer organizational needs and contribute to resolution of computer problems
Participate as a multidisciplinary production team member and design/maintain electrical instruments, equipment, components, and systems
Requirements
To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months
Working knowledge of schematic diagrams, mechanical assembly drawings, electrical and electronic test equipment, AC and DC theory, electronics, and general build processes including soldering, wiring, PCB handling, and mechanical assembly
Proficiency with safe and proper operation of basic electrical test equipment, electronics tools, and hand tools
Must understand and have experience in networking including LANs, routers and switches
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to carry out and create complex technical instructions
Understanding of software contracts, upgrade paths, and license keys
Flexibility and ability to handle multiple projects
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide-range, diverse user community and present ideas in user-friendly language
Ability to build positive relationships with customers and program teams
Ability to operate independently ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with regulations
