About the role

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of programs from inception through completion.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure program objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial forecasts, tracking, and reporting.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular program reviews and provide updates to senior management.
  • Lead proposal efforts for follow-on business for programs/customers assigned.
  • Prepare program plans including overall Program Schedule, budgets, and Work Breakdown Structure.
  • Maintain Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics and conduct variance analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience
  • 1 year experience in Earned Value Management
  • Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing profit and loss on a program
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience in the aerospace, defense, or manufacturing industries
  • MS Project experience is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and practices
