About the role

  • Work directly with L3Harris Public Safety & Professional Communications (PSPC) Sales Team to support business development activities
  • Perform radio demonstrations for L3Harris customers
  • Maintain a fleet of inventory
  • Support regional and national trade show events
  • Have a core understanding of radio programming software and feature selection for P25 systems
  • Manage multiple priorities and execute tasks on a timely basis
  • Understand customer requirements to recommend equipment solutions
  • Demonstrate successful technical solutions to customers
  • Liaise between internal and external stakeholders to define user requirements
  • Collaborate with product positioning to business developers, engineering teams, and product line managers
  • Create a vision for successful technical demonstrations, trials, and exercises
  • Coordinate support for technical complexities of assigned accounts to ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process
  • Stage, maintain, and operate typical LMR Trunked Radio Systems
  • Provide pre-sales and/or post-sales technical support for L3Harris products
  • Provide training to customers on various L3Harris products
  • Support centralized equipment cache

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
  • Systems engineering/integration experience
  • Internet Protocol (IP) networking experience
  • Military service (Technical/Communications) experience a plus
  • Active Security clearance
  • Assoc. or bachelor’s degree in RF or Electrical technical field of study or 6 years relevant experience in communication planning, operation, or installation
  • Radio communication experience (HF, ANW2, SATCOM, FM, P25)
  • A basic understanding of electronics theory and the ability to work with hardware components as required
  • A working knowledge of Public Safety communications and Public Safety dispatching operations
