About the role
- Provide expert contractual direction and guidance for all phases of the business cycle
- Establish and drive implementation of contract policies, processes, and procedures
- Provide leadership, oversight, direction, and guidance of compliance awareness
- Review proposals to ensure they meet company policy and customer solicitation requirements
- Utilize risk management methodologies to assess and minimize risk to the company
- Lead team in negotiation preparation and negotiation execution
- Work closely with government contacts and multi-function corporate representatives
- Participate in initiatives to promote continuous improvement
Requirements
- Active Top Secret security clearance with CI polygraph
- Bachelor’s Degree with 12 years of prior related experience, or Graduate Degree with 10 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of degree, there is a minimum of 16 years of prior related experience
- Experience with managing IDIQ’s, CPAF, CPFF and FFP contracts
- Expert knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations, licensing, ITAR/EAR, and CAS
- Prior experience in leading and mentoring a team of contract professionals
- Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives
- Strong communication with parties within and outside of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and finalize complex contracts
- Basic understanding of EVMS
