About the role

  • Perform product support engineering activities
  • assist as a technical resource from program’s concept and proposal phases through development

  • Perform/develop/update Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
  • Develop maintenance concepts to ensure affordable and effective solution
  • Plan/execute activities that sustain operation and maintenance of systems
  • Conduct logistics analyses using engineering background and knowledge of industry tools
  • Perform Human Factors analysis on maintenance and operation activities
  • Develop/update Packaging, Handling, Shipping & Transportation (PHS&T) and Demilitarization plans
  • Travel is estimated at 10%

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline
  • minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
  • Experience in Logistics Support Analysis (LSA)
  • Maintainability or other logistics related discipline
  • Experience in developing/generating various types of logistics supportability analysis
  • Experience developing LSA products in accordance with MIL-STD-1388, GEIA-STD-0007 or MIL-PRF-49506 in LSA database tools such as EAGLE or PowerLog
  • Understanding of repair level analysis and life cycle cost modeling
  • Knowledge of analyzing data/trend analysis or databases for tracking spares and inventory
  • Familiarity with military maintenance and sustainment support
  • Engineering design background generating new designs, models, and drawings
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience supporting procurement activities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess active DoD Security Clearance (investigation completed within last 5 years)
