About the role
- Perform product support engineering activities
- assist as a technical resource from program’s concept and proposal phases through development
- test

- post-production support phases
- Serve as the Product Support/Sustainability point of contact for assigned programs
- integrate into program and engineering teams
- Support logistics design influence efforts
- activities necessary to meet system performance requirements
- Analyze and interpret technical data to develop technical and logistics data
- Create/update reports such as task analysis
- maintenance plans
- provisioning requirements reports
- Perform/develop/update Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
- Develop maintenance concepts to ensure affordable and effective solution
- Plan/execute activities that sustain operation and maintenance of systems
- Conduct logistics analyses using engineering background and knowledge of industry tools
- Perform Human Factors analysis on maintenance and operation activities
- Develop/update Packaging, Handling, Shipping & Transportation (PHS&T) and Demilitarization plans
- Travel is estimated at 10%
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline
- minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
- Experience in Logistics Support Analysis (LSA)
- Maintainability or other logistics related discipline
- Experience in developing/generating various types of logistics supportability analysis
- Experience developing LSA products in accordance with MIL-STD-1388, GEIA-STD-0007 or MIL-PRF-49506 in LSA database tools such as EAGLE or PowerLog
- Understanding of repair level analysis and life cycle cost modeling
- Knowledge of analyzing data/trend analysis or databases for tracking spares and inventory
- Familiarity with military maintenance and sustainment support
- Engineering design background generating new designs, models, and drawings
- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience supporting procurement activities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess active DoD Security Clearance (investigation completed within last 5 years)
