About the role

  • Manage the technical aspects of a specific project or effort and ensure technical, schedule and cost targets are met
  • Coordinate and lead the engineering product development activities
  • Plan, schedule and direct the engineering support of the assigned projects
  • Maintain open and clear communication with the PM, engineering function and assigned team members, suppliers and customer(s)
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Engage cross-functional leaders
  • Interface and work closely with the customer(s) on technical and contractual requirements
  • Responsible for technical baseline development, resource identification and allocation
  • Direct the engineering team assigned to the program and manage their performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with minimum of 9 years relative experience or Master’s Degree with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
  • Proven work experience as a Project Engineer or similar role
  • 2 or more years of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
  • Prior experience in project management skills, including the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Prior experience client-facing and leading internal communication
  • Ability to obtain security clearance if required
  • MS Project experience (Generating and Maintaining project schedules)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Power Bi experience
