About the role
- Analog and digital design of ruggedized electronics for ordnance applications
- Circuit tolerance analyses using hand calculations and Spice tools
- Generate test plans and test reports related to product performance
- Perform test activities in all phases of product development cycle
- Assist in failure investigations using structured tools
- Multi-task across several projects simultaneously
- Travel, 5%, locations vary
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or CompE
- Minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
- Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience
- Experience with analog and digital components
- Proficient in using lab equipment
- Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools
- Experience in design reviews and technical documentation
- Basic knowledge of schematic capture tools
- Experience with power supply design and power conversion
- Familiarity with serial communication buses
- Basic understanding of sensors
- Understanding of design best practices
- Ability to lead technical projects
- Experience in engineering change processes and regulated environments
- Basic understanding of root cause analysis
