About the role
- Develop, analyze, execute test plans and date
- Update and implement testing procedures to validate performance, evaluate results against design criteria, durability, and reliability
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, investigate, diagnose, and resolve electrical issues identified during testing
- Perform root cause analysis and propose corrective actions
- Verify compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, production, and project management teams
- Maintain test equipment, ensuring all tools and systems are functioning correctly and accurately
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including test reports, procedures, and specifications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- Familiarity with standard testing equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies)
- Strong understanding of electrical circuit design, analysis, and safety protocols
- Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and schematics
- Experience with automated testing systems and data acquisition systems
- Experience in EMC/EMI testing is desirable
