About the role
- Lead, mentor, and provide coaching and training to employees in Supply Chain and outside the Supply Chain organization
- Interacts as a functional representative/subject matter expert internally with Leadership
- Proficient in functional processes, policies and procedures
- Interacts with external customers and auditors to provide information
- Provides subject matter expertise and advises Division level organization as required by internal and external audits
- Subject Matter Expert with advanced skills to communicate effectively across Supply Chain, other functional organizations, executive leadership and a wide array of professional levels and functions
- Advanced experience leading organizations supply chain activities, metrics, KPIs, proposals, cost savings/affordability and advise/communicate with senior management and cross-functional leadership
- Support supply chain organization and cross-functional requests, and inquiries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
- Total relevant professional experience to be minimum of 7 years in Procurement and/or Subcontracts
- DoD contract experience
- Knowledge of FAR/DFAR/ITAR laws, rules, and regulations
- Experience in managing various types of complex subcontracts, including hardware, software, complex services subcontracts, and follow-on/production subcontracts
- Lean Six Sigma experience
- Experience as Cost Account Manager for Subcontracts managing budgets and sales forecasting.
