About the role
- Drive and support high-impact demonstrations at trade shows and customer sites, showcasing NGTDL products
- Seamlessly integrate NGTDL products onto various platforms, including aircraft, ground vehicles, and ISR systems
- Work closely with customers to ensure successful integration of L16 radios into their systems, providing expert technical support
- Conduct internal development and rigorous testing, including demonstrations and validation of NGTDL software and products
- Maintain equipment inventory and support business development activities
- Provide technical support for production and maintenance, repair, and operations
- Address product technical inquiries
- Maintain and update Engineering documents such as ICDs and O&M documents
- Travel approximately 10% of the time to support customer integration, demonstrations, and other project-related activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience OR in lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- Proven hands-on experience with tactical data link systems including radio systems (MIDS, STT, BATS-E 1500S, BATS-E 2000, BATS-D, etc)
- Strong documentation skills (specifications, test plans, procedures, reports)
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Strong systems engineering and/or software development skills
- Strong understanding of electrical and hardware ICD documents
- Several years of experience supporting operational employment of Link 16 radios
- Several years of experience in systems engineering, software development, or a related field, particularly within the defense or aerospace industry
- Several years of experience supporting one or multiple product lines (Depot, Production, Sustainment)
- Experience supporting production/operations or depot
- Basic understanding of RF systems and the test equipment used to analyze spectrum
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and practices
