About the role

  • Drive and support high-impact demonstrations at trade shows and customer sites, showcasing NGTDL products
  • Seamlessly integrate NGTDL products onto various platforms, including aircraft, ground vehicles, and ISR systems
  • Work closely with customers to ensure successful integration of L16 radios into their systems, providing expert technical support
  • Conduct internal development and rigorous testing, including demonstrations and validation of NGTDL software and products
  • Maintain equipment inventory and support business development activities
  • Provide technical support for production and maintenance, repair, and operations
  • Address product technical inquiries
  • Maintain and update Engineering documents such as ICDs and O&M documents
  • Travel approximately 10% of the time to support customer integration, demonstrations, and other project-related activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience OR in lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
  • Proven hands-on experience with tactical data link systems including radio systems (MIDS, STT, BATS-E 1500S, BATS-E 2000, BATS-D, etc)
  • Strong documentation skills (specifications, test plans, procedures, reports)
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Strong systems engineering and/or software development skills
  • Strong understanding of electrical and hardware ICD documents
  • Several years of experience supporting operational employment of Link 16 radios
  • Several years of experience in systems engineering, software development, or a related field, particularly within the defense or aerospace industry
  • Several years of experience supporting one or multiple product lines (Depot, Production, Sustainment)
  • Experience supporting production/operations or depot
  • Basic understanding of RF systems and the test equipment used to analyze spectrum
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and practices
