About the role
- Join the assembly and integration team in the Airborne Focus Factory
- Familiar with precision manufacturing techniques to fabricate, integrate, and validate optics
- Perform optical testing such as MTF, EFL, Distortion, and Concentricity
- Work with engineering drawings, manufacturing instructions, procedures, and specifications
- Willingness to work overtime, shifts, weekends, holidays, and travel as required.
Requirements
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0 to 3 years of prior related experience
- Experience in manufacturing and/or prototyping environment
- Must be able to read engineering drawings/blue prints/schematics and detailed work instructions
- Ability to maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation
- Speaks clearly and concisely, presenting ideas effectively to individuals or groups
- Ability to identify problems and suggest solutions
- Demonstrates appropriate computer knowledge
- Understands and adheres to established policies, procedures and proper labor charging practices
- Must be able to perform as an individual contributor as well as within a team environment
- Must be mechanically inclined and detailed oriented.
