About the role
- Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion
- Drives program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives
- Responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance of programs
- Participates in negotiation of contract and contract changes
- Coordinates preparation of proposals, business plans, performance SOW, and financial terms/conditions of contract
- Acts as primary customer contact for program activities
- Establishes design concepts and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and testing
- Expands product line with the customer
- Monitors adherence to master plans and schedules
- Identifies program problems and obtains solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- (Experience with DoD contract execution and management)
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- 6 years experience with Earned Value Management and variance reporting
- PMP certification (preferred)
- Strong project management skills, including earn value management.
