About the role
- Assist the production team to efficiently process work in accordance with a production plan
- Promote and deliver high quality output
- Work with Operations Management to execute manufacturing standards
- Encourage team member improvement
- Act as point of contact for questions in assigned production area
- Perform assembly work as required
- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they follow best practices and safety protocols
- Perform monthly audits
- Replenish production consumables across all manufacturing areas
- Ensure calibrated tooling is properly managed
- Manage manufacturing shelf-life materials
- Identify process improvement opportunities and suggest changes
- Perform assembly tasks for designated manufacturing area
Requirements
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years of prior manufacturing experience or
- 2 years post-Secondary/Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
- Aerospace industry experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Specialized level of knowledge in the final assembly of flight hardware
- Good time management and multi-tasking skills
- Good oral and written communications skills
- Moderate computer skills desired.
