About the role
- Operate optical manufacturing equipment and inspect optics for surface quality and defects
- Perform optical alignment work in manufacturing and/or prototyping environment
- Read engineering drawings/blueprints/schematics and detailed work instructions
- Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation
Requirements
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent
- 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
- Direct experience with one or more of the Following, Optical Interferometry, MTF testing, Lens bench testing, Resolution testing
- Proficient with measuring tools (verniers, calipers, scales, etc.)
