About the role

  • Engage in data-driven improvement and sustainment initiatives
  • Design, write, implement, evaluate, and revise quality assurance procedures, statistical sampling techniques, quality plans
  • Work independently and along team members to provide solutions to technical problems
  • Generate and deploy Green Belt tools to act as indicators of quality
  • Analyze metrics and indicators to determine opportunities for improvement
  • Interface effectively and successfully with customers to discuss and negotiate quality requirements
  • Assist in process improvement and problem solutions on the factory floor
  • Act as the Quality Subject Matter Expert (SME) on program and design teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 4 years of Quality Engineering experience
  • 2 years or more experience in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings of complex nature
  • 2 years or more experience with problem-solving tools such as 8D, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, and CAPA
  • 2 years or more experience in working and communicating effectively in a team environment
  • 2 years or more experience working in a dynamic environment with multiple and changing priorities.
