About the role
- Engage in data-driven improvement and sustainment initiatives
- Design, write, implement, evaluate, and revise quality assurance procedures, statistical sampling techniques, quality plans
- Work independently and along team members to provide solutions to technical problems
- Generate and deploy Green Belt tools to act as indicators of quality
- Analyze metrics and indicators to determine opportunities for improvement
- Interface effectively and successfully with customers to discuss and negotiate quality requirements
- Assist in process improvement and problem solutions on the factory floor
- Act as the Quality Subject Matter Expert (SME) on program and design teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 4 years of Quality Engineering experience
- 2 years or more experience in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings of complex nature
- 2 years or more experience with problem-solving tools such as 8D, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, and CAPA
- 2 years or more experience in working and communicating effectively in a team environment
- 2 years or more experience working in a dynamic environment with multiple and changing priorities.
