Contribute to the company’s success by supporting PCB part design activities
Utilize Siemens/Mentor PADS Designer and Layout software
Utilize AutoCAD mechanical software
Create and maintain schematic symbols for ECAD libraries
Create and maintain copper pad footprints, solder mask, and solder paste patterns
Ensure all requirements for fabrication, manufacturing, and assembly are met
Review drawings and data sheets for dimensional requirements

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience
Knowledge of CAD software tools
Knowledge of SMT and through-hole electronic components and packages used on PCB assemblies
Understands mechanical dimensioning and tolerancing
Excellent attention to detail
Working knowledge of a PLM tool, e.g., Agile, Teamcenter, etc.
