About the role

  • Contribute to the company’s success by supporting PCB part design activities
  • Utilize Siemens/Mentor PADS Designer and Layout software
  • Utilize AutoCAD mechanical software
  • Create and maintain schematic symbols for ECAD libraries
  • Create and maintain copper pad footprints, solder mask, and solder paste patterns
  • Ensure all requirements for fabrication, manufacturing, and assembly are met
  • Review drawings and data sheets for dimensional requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
  • Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience
  • Knowledge of CAD software tools
  • Knowledge of SMT and through-hole electronic components and packages used on PCB assemblies
  • Understands mechanical dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of a PLM tool, e.g., Agile, Teamcenter, etc.
