About the role
- Contribute to the company’s success by supporting PCB part design activities
- Utilize Siemens/Mentor PADS Designer and Layout software
- Utilize AutoCAD mechanical software
- Create and maintain schematic symbols for ECAD libraries
- Create and maintain copper pad footprints, solder mask, and solder paste patterns
- Ensure all requirements for fabrication, manufacturing, and assembly are met
- Review drawings and data sheets for dimensional requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
- Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience
- Knowledge of CAD software tools
- Knowledge of SMT and through-hole electronic components and packages used on PCB assemblies
- Understands mechanical dimensioning and tolerancing
- Excellent attention to detail
- Working knowledge of a PLM tool, e.g., Agile, Teamcenter, etc.
