About the role
- Monitor and control project progress, making necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion
- Manage performance in key areas including technical scope, schedule, and cost
- Administer program budgets, approve variances in monthly performance, and generate comprehensive spend plans, payment forecasts, and variance reports
- Provide financial and programmatic reporting guidance across program resources, ensuring compliance with internal policies and basic earned value management (EVM) principles
- Manage program-level changes and lead proposal development efforts for engineering change proposals (ECPs) or other contractual updates
- Develop and implement risk management plans, manage project changes, and ensure proper documentation
- Achieve L3Harris and Customer objectives, including on-time delivery, exceptional quality, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with technical and functional leads to gather progress status and prepare for recurring customer reviews
- Ability to travel approximately 15% to domestic locations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience is required
- 3 years of prior relevant experience in EVMS
- Experience in Government Contracting/Subcontracting
- Proven track record as a Cost Account Manager managing budgets and sales forecasting for subcontracts
- Expertise in navigating FAR/DFARS, ITAR, EAR regulations, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures
- Background in SATCOM and/or missile defense programs is a plus
- Proficiency in managing various cost-type contracts
