About the role

  • Directs all phases of assigned programs from inception through completion
  • Drives program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives
  • Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of assigned programs
  • Uses Earned Value techniques (EVMS) to baseline, monitor, and control assigned programs
  • Directs the work of employees assigned to the program
  • Leads negotiation of new contracts and amendments to existing contracts
  • Coordinates the preparation, Statement of Work (SOW) specifications, financial/contractual terms

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior related program management experience
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related program management experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related technical and program management experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Fluent with Costpoint ERP/MRP
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background preferred
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance
