About the role
- Serve as a communications FSR for program aircraft, ground sites, and support equipment.
- Support aircraft launch/recovery, provide engineering and technical support to Operations and Maintenance.
- Complete field team repairs and modifications on program aircraft and components.
- Support imaging and configuration of program assets, FAA return to service of program components.
- Interface with the Customer, Users, and subcontractors as required.
- Occasional overtime along with dayshift, swing shift and rotating on-call for nights and weekends are required.
- Ability to work in a demanding environment. Working knowledge of aircraft communications systems and ground systems.
- Troubleshoot aircraft communications systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with six (6) years of aircraft mission communications systems, maintenance and modification experience.
- Graduate Degree with four (4) years of aircraft mission communications systems, maintenance and modification experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of ten (10) years of aircraft mission communications systems, maintenance and modification experience.
- Must have an active Top Secret DoD Clearance with SCI eligibility at the time of hire.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Preferred Additional Skills: Experience in a military environment and use of military Vehicle Maintenance Forms. Technical and aircraft wiring diagram experience. Visio experience.
