Provide Mechanical Engineering support to customer-funded programs and internal research efforts
Oversee and lead design, development and analysis tasks on complex hardware
Ensure compliance with requirements definition, concept generation, material selection, trade studies
Maintain design documentation, manufacturing, assembly/integration and testing
Investigate solutions to product or process problems

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience
In lieu of degree, 13 years of mechanical engineering experience
Experience with structural analysis methods (FEA and hand-calculations) is required
Experience with ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing standard
Experience with CAD software is required, preferably CREO
