About the role
- Partner closely with leadership and staff to define and implement HR strategies that align with business goals
- Establish, implement, and oversee human resources policies and programs, providing counsel and assistance to employees and management
- Facilitate organization and leadership development efforts; address root causes of HR and employee relations issues
- Analyze trends and metrics related to talent acquisition, attrition, diversity, performance, etc., to develop effective solutions, programs, and policies
- Utilize metrics and analytics to drive performance and desired outcomes
- Play a key role in administering talent management and succession planning within the organization
- Provide change management leadership
- Advise management on plans to enhance employee engagement and foster positive employee relations
- Perform project management duties and team facilitation
- Assist and advise management in all aspects of employee performance management
- Apply strategic approaches to both verbal and written communications
- Promote L3Harris business operating system ('e3'), focusing on administrative excellence and process improvement across the IT organization and HR function.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience
- Proficiency in team facilitation, change management, project management, performance management, employee relations, staffing, compensation, diversity, and organizational/management development
- Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, coaching, and consulting skills
- Ability to identify root causes and link situations to the broader organizational context
- Adaptability to operate successfully in a matrix environment
- Keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office software products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
