About the role

  • Oversees all Operations efforts relating to contract execution
  • Planning, executing, and monitoring projects from beginning to end
  • Point-of-contact between Manufacturing, Procurement, Test, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Program Management
  • Ensure cost and schedule conformance on assigned projects by coordinating procurement, build, and test of complex electronic systems
  • Handle stressful situations with maturity, respect, and confidence
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Be a self-starter with a track record of identifying and implementing creative solutions to complex problems
  • Demonstrate attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Excel in a team environment with the ability to avoid and resolve conflict
  • Interpret engineering instructions and drawings
  • Understand current and emerging manufacturing processes and methods
  • Excel in high stress/high visibility environment, including public speaking and creating formal presentations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree , minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Direct experience with modern manufacturing processes and techniques
  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP and the application of IRAD and Rapid Prototype methodologies
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
