About the role
- Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems to ensure compliance and standardization across the organization
- Cultivate a nurturing and supportive work environment that encourages professional development and continuous learning
- Identify and implement novel solutions that drive down cost of quality metrics and improve process stability and capability
- Oversee the accurate collection and analysis of quality metrics to drive process improvements
- Maintain and update policy documentation, ensuring clarity and adherence to the latest standards
- Develop guidelines and procedures based on executive feedback and inter-company communications
- Handle deviations from standard procedures, authorizing exceptions and ensuring gap closure
- Ensure IT systems effectively capture quality metrics and that data representation is precise
- Establish and support actions that support achieving strategic goals that impact the department and the site’s short-term operational results
- Accountable and/or responsible for the overall budget or P&L, the role includes managing financial elements that impact the bottom line
- Cultivate a culture of quality by promoting best practices, encouraging open communication, and leading by example to ensure continuous improvement and excellence in all operational aspects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years prior related quality experience
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related quality experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related quality experience
- 5+ years experience in the field of manufacturing with strong knowledge and skills in quality or a similar role with an understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization
- 2+ years experience leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, tactics and a team
