Provide engineering services for transmissions management and control for all commercial frequency spectrums
Review policy and plans for commercial satellite communication programs and suggest technical solutions
Participate in various Department of Defense (DoD), Joint, and other Government agency working groups
Analyze, evaluate, and recommend concepts for future communications and automation operational challenges
Assist in managing Commercial SATCOM ground segment and gateways
Provide input to briefings and papers which convey strategic vision or organizational policies
Collect and maintain Service terminal basis of issue and capabilities content
Provide employment recommendations for integrating MILSATCOM, COMSATCOM, and ground systems

Requirements

Active DoD TS clearance with SCI eligibility
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
Expertise in commercial satellite constellations and commercial ground station equipment
Operation and maintenance of the space, SATCOM, airborne, and terrestrial networks and systems
A systems engineering related field with a specialization in satellite communications, information technology, or electrical engineering
Demonstrated relevant experience with the SATCOM apportionment planning
Knowledge of Commercial satellite communications systems and capabilities
Four (4) years of demonstrated relevant experience or education in communication principles and SATCOM theory
Two (2) years of operational experience with Commercial SATCOM systems
Demonstrated relative knowledge of intelligence capabilities, processes, and tasking mechanisms necessary to support Government efforts
