About the role
- Engage in data-driven improvement and sustainment initiatives.
- Design, write, implement, evaluate, and revise quality assurance procedures.
- Work independently and with team members on various technical problems.
- Lead the administration of Quality system tools (i.e TIPQA).
- Implement, interpret, and utilize metrics toward process improvement activities.
- Lead teams and perform investigations to drive CAPA for nonconformance.
- Act as the Quality Subject Matter Expert (SME) on program and design teams.
- Analyze metrics and indicators to determine opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure early detection and resolution of nonconformance.
- Interface with customers to discuss and negotiate quality requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 9 years of Quality Engineering experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of Quality Engineering experience
- In lieu of a degree, a combination of 13 years of Quality Engineer, Electrical, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineer experience.
- 9 years or more experience in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings of complex nature.
- 9 years or more experience with problem-solving tools such as 8D, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, and CAPA.
- 9 years or more experience in working and communicating effectively in a team environment.
- 9 years or more experience working in a dynamic environment with multiple and changing priorities.
- Deltek TIPQA Administration Experience.
- Must be a United States Citizen.
