About the role
- Analyze customer and stakeholder requirements to support system and software development
- Develop, manage, and maintain system and software requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Plan, conduct, document, and report system integration, verification, and validation testing
- Develop test plans, test cases, procedures, and scripts based on software requirements and design specifications
- Design and configure test environments and scenarios to evaluate functionality, performance, and reliability
- Identify, document, track, and manage defects using established defect tracking tools
- Collaborate closely with software development teams to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
- Ensure technical documentation is accurate, current, and reflects system changes
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, processes, and best practices
- Communicate test results, risks, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders and project teams
- Continuously assess and improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies
- Participate in technical reviews, design reviews, and program meetings
- Support and maintain lab environments, including networking and system configurations
- Apply computer networking principles to system integration and testing activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience in systems engineering, integration, and/or test roles
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- 5+ years of Tactical Data Link (TDL) experience preferred
- Hands-on experience with Link 16 radios, including BATS-D, STT, MIDS, and JTRS preferred
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-6016, MIL-STD-3011, MIL-STD-6020, or equivalent STANAGs preferred
- Experience working with Link 16 Interface Control Documents (ICDs) preferred
- RF systems and radio waveform experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, including command-line usage preferred
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience preferred
- Python scripting experience preferred
- Test automation experience preferred
- INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel as required
