About the role

  • Planning, developing, and delivering technical documentation such as O&M manuals, user guides, and instructional materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development teams, product managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Develop, organize, and deliver technical information for non-technical and technical users.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and convert them into easy-to-understand procedures.
  • Ensure best practices and style guides are adhered to while maintaining a consistent tone, structure, and format across all technical documentation.
  • Manage tasks and information flow using collaboration software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly required.
  • Experience with creating documentation in HTML (Dreamweaver, Confluence, FrameMaker, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience working with the Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
  • Experience creating companion information such as illustrations using photography or illustration software (Photoshop) or flowcharts/graphs using Visio.
  • Experience in training curriculum development.
  • Understanding of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
