About the role
- Designing modifications to aircraft structures, mechanical systems, and interior layouts
- Analyzing technical issues and proposing complete, innovative, and compliant design solutions
- Contributing to the development of commercial projects (missionization, interiors, various improvements)
- Producing, reviewing, and approving the technical documentation required for project execution (drawings, reports, technical instructions, etc.)
- Ensuring compliance with design specifications and maintaining the quality, safety, and airworthiness of the aerospace products supported by the company
- Acting as a technical liaison with internal and external partners
- Meeting project schedule and budget constraints.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in aircraft structural design and modification
- Experience in aircraft interior design
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in the areas listed above
- Strong knowledge of certification rules (especially flammability) is a significant asset
- Proficiency with CATIA V6 and 3DEXPERIENCE is an asset
- Previous experience working on aging aircraft platforms is an asset
- Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
