About the role
- Design modifications to aircraft structures, mechanical systems, and interior layouts;
- Analyze technical issues and propose comprehensive, innovative solutions that comply with design requirements;
- Contribute to the development of commercial projects (missionization, interiors, and various upgrades);
- Produce, review, and approve technical documentation required for project execution (drawings, reports, technical instructions, etc.);
- Ensure compliance with design specifications and maintain the quality, safety, and airworthiness of the company's supported aeronautical products;
- Act as the technical liaison with internal and external partners;
- Meet project schedule and budget constraints.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in aircraft structural design and modification;
- Experience in aircraft interior design;
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the areas mentioned above;
- Strong knowledge of certification regulations (especially flammability) is a major asset;
- Proficiency in CATIA V6 and 3dExperience is an asset;
- Prior experience with aging platforms is an asset;
- Demonstrated initiative to improve both intra-team and cross-team workflows;
- Bilingual French/English is an asset.
