About the role
- Provide field and office-based technical support for RF communications equipment across HF, VHF, UHF, and SHF spectrums.
- Deliver customer training and guidance on operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures.
- Offer pre- and post-sales technical support, including system design input and application advice.
- Present and interpret technical information for customers and internal sales teams.
- Design minor system solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Evaluate product performance and recommend improvements or alternatives.
- Install, configure, operate, maintain, and repair communications equipment and software.
- Diagnose equipment faults and implement effective corrective actions.
Requirements
- Current Commonwealth of Australia security clearance, minimum Negative Vetting (NV1).
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent.
- Military Communications experience essential.
- Field engineering experience with tactical radio equipment including training, operation, fault finding and basic maintenance of military communications equipment.
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Proven written and oral communication skills to provide reports and briefings to the customer.
