About the role

  • Provide field and office-based technical support for RF communications equipment across HF, VHF, UHF, and SHF spectrums.
  • Deliver customer training and guidance on operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures.
  • Offer pre- and post-sales technical support, including system design input and application advice.
  • Present and interpret technical information for customers and internal sales teams.
  • Design minor system solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Evaluate product performance and recommend improvements or alternatives.
  • Install, configure, operate, maintain, and repair communications equipment and software.
  • Diagnose equipment faults and implement effective corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Current Commonwealth of Australia security clearance, minimum Negative Vetting (NV1).
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent.
  • Military Communications experience essential.
  • Field engineering experience with tactical radio equipment including training, operation, fault finding and basic maintenance of military communications equipment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Proven written and oral communication skills to provide reports and briefings to the customer.
