💰 $45,000 - $84,000 per year
About the role
- Perform work in manufacturing and/or prototyping environment.
- Read engineering drawings/blueprints/schematics and detailed work instructions.
- Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation.
- Ability to work with fragile and precise assemblies.
- Assist with identifying problems and suggesting solutions.
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, and proper labor charging practices.
- Work with a variety of hand tools and specialized equipment.
- Must be proficient with measuring tools (verniers, calipers, scales, etc.)
- Willingness to work overtime, shift work, weekends, holidays and some travel.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-4 years of prior relevant experience or experience in manufacturing and/or prototyping environment
- Experience in an Electrical/Mechanical/Optical discipline.
- Aerospace or Defense industry experience.
- Experience with CMM and/or Laser Tracker measurement tools.
- Experience with shop equipment including but not limited to Mills, Lathes, Grinders, and precision measuring equipment.
- Lean Manufacturing practices.
