About the role
- Oversee daily assembly operations to ensure production schedules are met and products are assembled to the highest quality standards
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve operational efficiency, productivity, and quality
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize assembly processes, reduce waste, and improve throughput
- Manage and allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet production goals
- Develop and manage budgets for assembly operations, monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety within the assembly operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing and assembly operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Supervisory and administrative skills including the ability to select, appraise, motivate and develop subordinates
- Familiarity with EHS practices in the manufacturing environment
